Sexual health services
The Pregnancy & Wellness Centre of Moncton provides whole person care that meets the needs of our clients. All services are free, optional, and client led. We provide trauma infromed care in a safe environment for everyone, regardless of age, gender, orientation, race, income, religious affiliation or cirumstance.
Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI) can have serious effects and sometimes there are no symptoms at all.
We can provide treatment for many of these infections. Get tested if:
- - you have a new sexual partner
- - you have had sex with more than one partner
- - your partner has had sex with more that one partner
- - you notice any changes in your body
- - you had sex with someone who has an STI
- - you had sex without a condom or the condom broke
The testing is quick, and results are typically received within a week.
Our nurse offers free on-site STI testing, treatment and referrals. Infections that we assess and test for include: Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, HIV, Syphilis, Hepatitis B, Trichomonas (Women only) and Baterial Vaginosis.
